- This article highlights the similarities and differences of the push for political correctness by Stalin in the 1930’s and the push for political correctness in the 21st century on college campuses in the U.S. America focuses largely on gaining control of universities and higher learning as a whole as their main point for political correctness, while Stalin was pushing it for political purposes. Since universities have grown tremendously over the past 15 years, partially due to the G.I. bill, so has the presence of political correctness on them.
- My source states that they do not believe political correctness will have much of an impact on students in the future. Given that this was written a few years ago it is clearly incorrect. With new programs being enacted frequently to push the political correctness agenda on students attending universities across the nation. This source helped shed some light on the reasons for such a strong political correctness push on college campuses over the past few years as well.
- This source has led me to find out exactly how college campuses have been affected by political correctness in recent times. My next goal is to find out exactly how colleges and students have been affected by this push, and what that means for us in the future. So far, I know that college campuses have been affected, and exactly why there is such a big push for political correctness on college campuses.
